This is my blog. There are many like it, but this one is mine
As Google+ is supposedly shutting it's doors any time the engineer in charge of the servers happen to walk past and notices that it's still running it got me thinking about all the titbits of potentially useful information I sprinkle on various platforms that rely on someone else to keep them available.
Thus I wrote a small addon to the "CMS" system that I made for thomen.fi that lets me write markdown files and they get automatically posted under the modification date of the file.
That entailed a lot of fun rewriting (without breaking anything) of the internals of the CMS system to make it less crappy and allowing more code re-use. Fun! It's not fancy, but I don't need fancy.
So there we go, another shout into the void, but this one I should be able to guarantee some level of sticking around.
